Richard Berti - Accountant, Educator, and Community Leader

A Certified Public Accountant, Richard Berti is the founder of Richard A. Berti, CPAs. In his executive capacity, he provided accounting and advisory services for more than two decades. His work included financial reporting, tax planning, and auditing for businesses and individuals. His approach emphasized accuracy and practical guidance, which helped clients manage their financial responsibilities.

In addition to his accounting practice, Mr. Berti supported community initiatives. He taught accounting courses at Santa Barbara City College and Westmont College and helped introduce financial literacy to students at El Puente School. His volunteer work extended to local organizations such as the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, and the Endowment for Youth. His community involvement led to several honors, including the Los Padres Council BSA Legacy Award.

Mr. Berti earned a degree in accounting from Woodbury College in Los Angeles. After retiring from practice, he studied photography at the Brooks Institute of Photography. His other interests include woodworking and pottery.
